Jenny Guggenheim Selects 5 Rugs

You may have already seen some of Jenny's exceptional design work on the pages of Dwell, Domino, Luxe and Gray magazines. We recently asked her to select 5 rugs from our collection and tell us why.

^ GABBEH, 3.3 x 4.11

Primitive Gabbehs have a great story to tell. I love that they are all so unique with the creativity of the weaver shining through. This 3x5 has a beautiful grounding quality, with its design anchored to one end. Beautiful in a small bathing space or a compact entry!

^ FRACTO AUTUMN, by Battilossi, 8.0 x 10.1

Fracto Autumn is the perfect complement to a peaceful bedroom space. The visual texture is stunning yet subtle enough for a quiet space.

^ PERSIAN KILIM, 9.2 x 9.9

I love the dramatic contrast of this nearly square rug! Perfect for a home office or small sitting room, its pattern invites a sense of edge-to-edge tension.

^ USKUDAR RUNNER, by Woven Legends. 2.6 x 9.1

Look closely and you will see the subtle color shifts on either side of this runner. I love that it's not perfectly symmetrical like most elongated patterns. The color tones are beautiful and would provide a nice contrast to some of our more modern interiors.

^GABBEH, 7.5 x 10.1

I couldn't leave this list without another beautiful Gabbeh. The bold design would be right at home in a modern living room or a quiet sleeping space. I love the integration of intense blue in an otherwise neutral color combination.
