Battilossi Proves Again That They Are The Modern Masters Of The Flatweave Carpet

The Doko in Denim Blue is a contemporary area rug from Battilossi and part of their Avita Collection. Using traditional Soumak weaving techniques seen in tribal examples, the Doko utilizes this ability to alter the height of flat woven textiles to create a checker pattern of raised blue tones, ranging from powdery blue to a deep teal, against a rusty bronzish woven flat base. The contrast makes for a wonderfully fresh and updated modern look.
