The HardBoiledSplash collection has refined the original Splash collection into a contemporary collection of abstract patterns to emphasize the textural possibilities in each design. The combinations of wool and silk are in a high and low texture for maximum dramatic effect and interplay with light and shadow. Often incorporating a off-white and neutral grey tones in wool and silk blends against brighter pure silks in blue, rust, copper, and coral tones, the HardBoiledSplash Collection is an elegant elevation of what the future of couture carpets are in the 21st Century.

HardBoiledSplash No. 02 features higher silk areas in red, coral, blue, and copper in higher wool against a lower clipped base of lighter grey tones that veer from pure wool to wool and silk blends. The resulting texture becomes extremely dynamic and reactive to light intensity. Truly a confident interior choice.

Rug Star rugs produced in India are made with what is called a Persian Weave. By using a single thread to produce each knot the refinement of the design can be controlled to almost a pixelated level. With this method the final washing process is integral to realize the ultimate vision of the design.
