Tribal Garden Layout Gabbeh 

This garden design Gabbeh has similarities to some more refined classic traditional layouts, but the lack of a border also places it in the style of tribal Gabbehs. Each compartment depicts a stylized representative symbol of a particular plant or a plot of land or even pools of water. These Gabbehs can be thought of as a sort of talisman or assurance of a pastoral bounty and prosperous wealth for the owner of this piece.
