Timless Qashqaii Tribal Pattern Hand-knotted in very plush pile. 

Contemporary produced all wool rug with historically Qashqaii pattern. The central red ground features several symbolic icons seen for decades, if not centuries, in many older and antique examples from these same weavers and region. The soft tan color of the border, often referred to as a camel color in the rug world, features a series of colorful hooked diamonds in green, orange, red, and other tones. 

Made with the same high quality hand-spun wool used in Gabbeh rugs, this more established tribal pattern has a bit of a traditional look. Since rugs like this use no mechanized or chemical means to cultivate the wool, the fibers retain much more natural lanolin making them very resistant to permanent staining and respond extremely well to cleaning with only water and a mild soap.
