This hand-knotted wool 9x12 area rug has been influenced by traditional Berber woven Tuareg mats, which are typically made from woven palm leaves and reeds with leather accents. This all wool version of these tribal textiles features the same geometric designs of right angles, which many feel gives them similarities to same Scandinavian textiles. The darker brown line work features subtle patterning in the same lighter brown tones that make up the background.
