This fun little Gabbeh shows a scene of rolling hills with trees that banks upon a river. The hills give way to a colorful horizon that meets the darkening sky. Each Gabbeh is a one of a kind creation and this way likely done by one woman over the course of 4 to 5 months. The subject mater is entirely up to the creator and these rugs are valued for their spontaneity and whimsical subjects. Each Gabbeh is also made with some of the finest quality higher altitude wool, which produces a textile that is as durable and hard wearing as they are joyful and impulsive.
