Since 2006 this organization has worked to elevate not only the state of Afghan rug production, but also the lives of the weavers and craftspersons that are so crucial to it. Each purchase from Turquoise Mountain contributes to educational work programs and training, community health centers, and schools striving to revitalize Kabul, and the spirit of the people.

The Red Cubist design showcases the range of styles the talented weavers are capable of. The all wool pile has been hand-knotted in a pattern reminiscent of some more abstract Gabbeh type rugs, albeit with a bit of a nod to the Bauhaus.
