Round Polonaise Redbridge 5'6" Diameter Rug from Jan Kath

Custom produced round version of the Polonaise Redbridge design from Jan Kath. The design has been rendered in silk with a higher profile against a low shorn warm mauve-brown background. The blue silk outer edge has been finished with a selvedge stich of actual copper for a more lusterous look paying homage to the original Polonaise Rugs of the 17th Century, which often featured threads wrapped in precious metals such as gold and silver.
