Landscape Gabbehs are rugs that typically show a series of hills, often with smaller animal shapes such as deer, birds, or trees progressing toward a horizon. Being that the Qashqaii lived, and some still live as semi-nomadic herding groups one can imagine that these are sort of like snapshots of their travels and migrations.
