Another classic example of the iconic red Gabbeh. These once utilitarian floor coverings came into their own as examples of an under appreciated style of rugs in the early 80's when the wider rug buying world was opened up to them by the Zollanvari family and the film Gabbeh which premiered in 1996. These rugs have become a staple in the rug world since due to their whimsical and unique look, hard wearing materials, and undeniably authentic pedigree.
