Get this colorful 4x6 for that small space needing a little pop
Energetic and cheerful handmade rug in all wool
Gabbeh rugs are a type of rug with origins in the nomadic world of Persian herders. Prized for their uniqueness and quality as working textiles, each Gabbeh is a one of a kind glimpse into a world unto itself. We have the finest selection of Gabbeh rugs in the Pacific Northwest.
This wonderfully whimsical and colorful Gabbeh is made with the same hand-spun wool and naturally soourced dyes that make these such long lasting and hard wearing rugs. These patchwork style rugs typically produced by Kashkuli weavers often depict sort of topographical maps of the land and feature symbolic representations of what you might find in them. Such as wavy lines for a river or stream, or an isolated diamond to indicate the presence of a well. This piece also depicts various plant and tree shapes. Wonderful folj art feel. The wool pile is dense and plush and the vibrant colors make for an energetic and fun addition to any home.
