Colorful Kashkuli Gabbeh 3x6 Runner
Add Some Energy To Any Hallway With This Colorful Runner.
Captures the whimsical and spontanous nature of Gabbehs perfectly.
Gabbeh rugs are a type of rug with origins in the nomadic world of Persian herders. Prized for their uniqueness and quality as working textiles, each Gabbeh is a one of a kind glimpse into a world unto itself. We have the finest selection of Gabbeh rugs in the Pacific Northwest.
Each authentic Gabbeh we carry is made using hand-spun wool, which results in not only longer fibers becoming yarns, but the wool itself retaining much more of the natural lanolin than processing by other mechanical means. This makes for a rug that is durable and able to handle rigorous daily use in even the most busy spaces. The design is an abstracted series of squares and rectangles of various size, color, and pattern which truly sums up the signature whimsy and improvisational nature of these types of rugs. All the colors have been sourced from natural and native plants and roots, so no chemical dyes have been used in the production of this exquisite hall runner.
