The pattern originates in Tibetan sand mandalas encouraging healing, peace, and purification. Along my own journey for spiritual focus, this image became more and more clear to me upon praying the Gayatri Mantra for 77 days with Deva Premal.

Within this design I share my love of color and beauty, my appreciation for craft and natural material, and my belief in the power of meditation to restore our well-being and heal our world.

I have had the honor of working on several Tibetan prayer rugs in my experience as a restorer and am humbled to contribute to this tradition of prayer rugs. Our rugs are lovingly hand-knotted in Nepal by a partner that observes strict fair labor practices for their weavers and works to support their community.
