Natural Wool Toned 10x14 Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs have their origins in the nomadic world of Persian herders. Made using hand-spun wool and dyes produced from natural plant and vegetable sources, our authentic Gabbeh rugs are among the most holistic choices for living spaces. Prized for their uniqueness and durable quality as working textiles, each Gabbeh is a one of a kind glimpse into a world unto itself. We have the finest selection of Gabbeh rugs in the Pacific Northwest.
These oversized Gabbehs have become incredibly hard to find over the past decade and we are overjoyed to be able to bring you this amazing rug. The overall color is a blend of natural wool tones comprised of the various cream, ivory, gray, and brown tones seen in sheep's wool. A border of sorts is implied with simple repeating pattern of blue and red squares and the central field has subtle rows of small repeating plant symbols in red.
We cannot stress how rare rugs of this quality and in these larger sizes are in the current rug market. This is truly an opportunity that is likely to not be repeated again.
