This is a really sweet smaller Gabbeh depicting four rows of plants and trees against a background of alternating lighter and darker indigo blue tones. This has all been framed by a border of natural wool tones in the lighter range of shades. This whimsical collection of trees and plants have been hand knotted using a variety of greens, blues, reds, oranges, and yellows showcasing the incredible range of hues that these weavers can achieve using dyes sourced from plant, mineral, and vegetable sources. These smaller tribal Gabbehs are a great way to add some unexpected whimsical charm and color to almost any space. And their durable nature makes them virtually worry free as they cleanup extremely well and respond to both spot cleaning and professional washings to like new condition.
