Charming Smaller Gabbeh Perfect for a Bedside or Entryway.

This smaller Gabbeh has a lovely central area of soft indigo blue framed by a border of undyed wool in a natural medium tone. There are four rows of plants and trees with some symbolic representations of flowers below each. All the colors seen in this hand-knotted Gabbeh have been achieved via botanical means using recipes handed down for generations among these semi-nomadic herding groups known for quality rug production.

Each Gabbeh is unique and no two are alike. While some similarities may be seen from rug to rug, each weaver is encouraged to improvise and originality among these weavers is highly regarded.
