Classic Red 7x9 Gabbeh

The Classic Red Gabbeh with Small Golden Yellow Speckles.

One of the signature color families that show up in Gabbeh's quite often. The hand-spun and processed wool is dyed using roots from the madder plant, which take 5 years to mature. The rich red tones vary to create an ombre of depth that is both spontaneous and well thought out by the weaver. Golden yellow squares in various sizes add small pops of color throughout the piece. The pile is of a medium pile height and incredibly soft to the touch.
