Gabbeh's are one-of-a-kind rugs originating from semi-nomadic weaving herders in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. Known for their whimsical subject matter and almost abstract treatment of perspective and color choices, Gabbeh rugs can be both tribal or modern depending on their surroundings. This piece displays the wonderful variety of ivory tones seen in the natural variation of the undyed wool. This also helps them retain more of the natural lanolin which makes these rugs some of the most durable and naturally stain resistant.
