This Cute Gabbeh depicts a series of trees and horizions along with several of the iconic small deer and birds that are often included in these tribal pieces. Each is one-of-a-kind and the weavers have immense freedom in their choices of subject matter. Often these textiles were never meant for trade so the designs tend to be more whimical than rugs and carpets intended for bartering or trade.
