Simple Checkerboard Design With Classic Tribal Symbols

This rustic Gabbeh features many of the symbolic iconography that we see in many of the Tribal rugs from the region. There are various plant and tree forms in compartmentalized squares, as well as animal forms and those of human figures, which is somewhat more rare in Triabl rugs and carpets.
