This Cool Toned Piece Spans the Silk Route With its Influences. 

Khotan rugs are a group of rugs that can reflect influences from all along the Silk Road in the choice of designs. This particular piece features many pomegranates, which hold significance to the peoples of Persia and modern Iran, as well as border elements that reflect a Chinese style. The blue on ivory with gray is reminiscent of Delft porcelain and pottery, hence the name we've given this group of rugs we recently received. The wool pile is soft and has a great feel in hand or under foot.
